
Marcia Neeley
Doctoral Candidate, Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Arizona State University
Working locally, nationally, and globally, Marcia returned to academia, following a career in an international humanitarian relief organization. Her work focused on resource development, foundation and individual grants, and communication and marketing strategies. Currently, for her dissertation, she is researching how political media changes the global balance of power and the positioning of multilateral government institutions during conflict. Marcia holds a Bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College, a Master’s from the University of Pennsylvania, and has done Ph.D. studies at The Johns Hopkins University.
