Christina Angeli is a PhD candidate at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research interests focus on health diplomacy, global health and media representations related to the health of vulnerable social groups. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in “Political Sciences” from Aristotle University, holds a MA in “Journalism and New Media” (Aristotle University) and a Master’s Degree in International Studies with specialization in “Strategic Studies and International Politics” (University of Macedonia). She was a “Junior Visiting Fellow” in the Global Health Centre at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She has a strong research background through her participation in funded research projects and extensive working experience acquired through her engagement in diverse professional environments.
