NEW DATES for THISAM 2021 ⇒ 16th to 23rd of July!
Last year, under the circumstances of covid-19, we transferred THISAM online to secure the health and safety of everyone. Even though in distance, the summer academy was completed with great success. 2020 was also the year we initiated a colloquium/one-day international conference, proving that innovation, circulation of knowledge and information cannot be limited for any reason.
This year, THISAM will be a hybrid event. It will take place onsite in Thessaloniki and at the same time online, for those who will not have the opportunity to attend in-person.

About the Summer Academy
School of Journalism and Mass Communications of Aristotle University Thessaloniki (AUTh), Jean Monet of European Union Public Diplomacy along with other partners will organize this year the 5th Thessaloniki International Summer Academy on Media. It will take place on 16-23 July 2021 under the title: “New trends in Media and Journalism: Turning crisis into opportunity”. Special emphasis will be given on the topics:
